About us

Stop Driving Fast, Be Fast… a safe way.

Driving a car on a track is comparable to approaching a wild animal… one has to be respectful, very humble, very cautious and should never believe that nothing bad can happen. Danger is present at every corner and can have many causes, such as: poor weather conditions, mechanical problems, behavior of others, physical but above all mental fatigue …

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is contained in six words: LEARNING, SAFETY, CLIENT SERVICE, FUN and PASSION.

When driving on a track, one has to ‘forget’ about most of the public road-driving reflex and techniques acquired over the years. Our professional instructors are very important in our business as they are the ones who will teach you how to do this. From beginners to advanced, there is always something to learn while track driving. One should never believe that he/she is mastering all techniques or problems will soon find you… wherever it is, the perfect lap has yet to be driven…

Our Clients have two options to choose from, when attending our events (option has to be chosen at the time of booking). Both lead to very different experiences:

Be it for those having busy lives full of constraints or for those only willing to spend a day out of their day-to-day routine track driving, this option allows people to spend some time having their mind 100% focused on something other than their day-to-day activities. And track driving is a very mind- and physically-demanding activity. As long as the safety of our Clients, instructors and co-track drivers are taken seriously, we more than fully sympathize with this approach;

As mentioned above, you never stop learning on a track. As a result, we have developed a learning program consisting of six levels that will allow those customers willing to progress to be able to be assessed independently by our professional instructors in a fair and consistent way.

Level Zero (empty star) is for people who have never driven on a track, Level Five (Five plain stars) means that the Client can qualify to get a license that would allow him/her to race in a GT Championship. The road between these five levels can be long… but it is worth the journey.

When joining the D2P Academy, there is only one rule: listen to the instructor and accept their opinion and decisions (they decide independently on whether a Client can go from one level to the other).

We have also designed the ‘5 days Track Pack’ product to more efficiently support our customers obtaining their track driving licenses.

Important Note: the D2P Academy does not provide an official racing license. It however optimally prepares the applicant to pass the necessary official exams to receive up to an International Track Racing License B (subject to medical approval). We support the passage of the official exams with the Royal Belgian Car Club (RACB) or any other FIA approved organisations in your home country. We will advise and support you free of charge in the successful completion of your exam(s).

The main difference between the two experiences is that the instructor will accompany you more closely (on and off-track) if you join the D2P Academy.

Safety is not just about good and secure behavior on the track, it is also about proper car maintenance as well as advice on how and how long one can drive on a track per day (an average person cannot physically and, more importantly, mentally, drive more than 3.5 to 4 hours on a track day).

Insurance is also a very important feature of a safe track day. This is why our fees include, for each of our customers, a comprehensive insurance that covers:

  • Any damage to the rented car above the Insurance Excess that you deposited;
  • Any damage that you cause to the track infrastructure;
  • A personal insurance, for our Clients and Instructors providing the following:
    • In case of death: EUR 50,000;
    • In case of permanent invalidity: EUR 100,000;
    • In case of injury: EUR 2,500 of hospital fees

Client Service

Our goal is to aim at bringing Client Service on tracks to a new level, to set up the highest possible level of human and material infrastructure quality so that our Clients are in the best possible conditions to spend their track day. Among other things:

  • All Clients are dressed head to toe with the best racing clothes and safety accessories;
  • Everything is prepared for clients to be able to focus only on their driving during the day (luxury and relaxing environment, physio on-site on all of our events, staff fully dedicated to support Clients during the whole event,…);
  • Clients are supported by licensed professional instructors to allow you to get the most out of your track day experience.

These two are at the core of the creation of D2P. Track driving, as you know or will know is all about this…

Even for those preparing a racing license, this is and must be all about FUN. We, at D2P, will never forget about that.

Why D2P ?

Over the years, we could experience a wide range of track car-renting businesses. While all of these experiences had a few to a lot of good things to offer, none of them had all the features that would make the experience as close to ‘THE’ track day experience as possible.

D2P offers a turnkey/all-in product where:

  • All fees are included – no supplement/hidden fees will be asked at any time (included in our daily fees):
    • Track day entry fees;
    • Unlimited number of kilometers per day (a typical track day with normal weather conditions is between 450 and 550 km (or 280 and 340 miles), depending on the track);
    • Fuel;
    • Instructor;
    • Full and comprehensive insurance for you and the car;
    • High-level catering;
    • On-site physiotherapist

When comparing our offer with our competitors, make sure that all of the above are also included in their offer.
