Before your track day
Some advice for the days prior to your track day:
- A few days before your track day:
- If available and possible, practice the track on video games for a track you have never driven before. While, obviously, the sensations are very different, it trains your brain to learn different corner sequences and this could be very helpful as a preparation for your track day;
- Full instructions (schedule, directions) will be provided to you in advance – do not hesitate to ask any question you may have.
- The day before the track day:
- Have a good night of sleep, do not party until late – note that for insurance purposes, you have to be clean of alcohol (warning: alcohol from the night before does not disappear instantly with only 3 hours sleep…) and any drug(s) to be allowed to drive. You will have to testify in writing that you are under no influence and if need be, we have some alcohol/drugs tests that would allow you and us to see if you are fit to drive on track;
Hydrate yourself as much as you can.
On your track day
- Be humble – the car will not forgive you anything…
- Try to avoid driving a significant number of kilometers prior to the track day – it is by far preferable to spend the night before the track day in a hotel near the track if you are living more than 50 km away from the place where the event will take place;
- Have solid breakfast;
- Hydrate yourself;
- Be at the track at 08:00 am sharp to avoid stress for the registration process and the briefing – arriving at the last minute produces a useless stress that will not put you in the best conditions to start your track day;
- Full instructions (schedule, directions) will be provided to you in advance – this document will tell you how the day will be organized.
Yearly Responsibility Waiver
Download our Yearly Responsibility Waiver. It is valid for a year and for all our events.
Please bring the above document signed off in original on the day of the trackday. Should you forget about it, we would provide you one to be filled in upon your arrival.
Payment Terms
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Driving will only be allowed if all the below amounts have been received by D2P. No driving will be possible without evidence that all amounts have been paid. Please be aware that as long as a Client has not paid us, his/her booking is not confirmed and can be taken by other Clients who may have paid earlier…
Except otherwise agreed in writing by D2P, all payments have to be done at the latest 14 calendar days before the booked event.
Before you are allowed to take part in our events, two payments have to be made:
- Payment for your track day fees – see amounts per day per car in the ‘Our Events’. This amount can be paid by:
- PayPal;
- Credit Card (MasterCard, VISA and American Express);
- Certified Bank Check (warning: personal Checks are not accepted and any check payment collection fees will be charged to you on top of your booking);
- Bank transfer – money would have to be sent to the following account:
Beneficiary Name D2P Sàrl Beneficiary Address 89E Rue Pafebruch, L-8308 Capellen, Luxembourg Bank Name Banque Internationale à Luxembourg BIC BILLLULL IBAN LU09 0025 0101 3896 9800 Communication Your name/Name of your organization + ‘Track Days Fees’ + Date of the event
- Pre-funding of your Insurance Excess – see amounts per day per car in the ‘Our Events’. At the end of the track day, one of two things will happen:
- There is no damage to the car: this amount will be given back to you at the end of the track day.
- There are damages to the car: the Insurance Excess amount paid will be frozen until an independent expert assesses the cost of the damage (this would take about a week). If the amount of the damages is higher than the paid excess, the corresponding amount will be kept in full.
The Insurance Excess amount can be paid by:
- PayPal;
- Guarantee taken on Credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) on the day of the event (MasterCard, VISA and American Express) – warning: if the credit card (Visa,MasterCard or American Express) limit is not sufficient to cover for the guarantee, you will not be able to participate in the track day and no reimbursement will be done by D2P for the track day fees;
- Certified bank check (this is NOT a standard personal check): this the original of a check issued and signed off by your bank, certifying that the amount is available – if such mean of guarantee is used, we would also need the name of a contact at your bank in order to be able to validate the check);
- Bank transfer – money would have to be sent to the following account:
Beneficiary Name D2P Sàrl Beneficiary Address 89E Rue Pafebruch, L-8308 Capellen, Luxembourg Bank Name Banque Internationale à Luxembourg BIC BILLLULL IBAN LU09 0025 0101 3896 9800 Communication Your name/Name of your organization + Excess + Date of the event
